LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Rocky River dropped its fifth straight game, as the Pirates lost to the host Lakewood Rangers, 61-34, on Monday evening.
Rocky River (5-8) was held to its single-game lowest point total since Dec. 7 in a contest controlled wire-to-wire by the Rangers. The Pirates were doubled up, 32-16, in the game’s first half and didn’t manage a double-digit scoring quarter until notching 10 points in the fourth.

The Pirates are slated to return to Great Lakes Conference play on Wednesday when they visit Holy Name (7:30 p.m. at Holy Name High School).
